As a follow up to the podcast episode #283 Celiac Myths Part 1, I continue my conversation with Registered Dietician Cayleigh McAulay from Celiac Canada to debunk myths around the gluten free diet. We’ve all heard the “you can have just a little bit, what harm could it do” or “don’t worry when you travel to Europe, wheat is different there and it won’t cause you any symptoms”. Some myths we’d like to believe, or at least not question, but it’s important to stop mis-information in it’s tracks and find out what science tells us.
